Someone opened the server configs.
Things were found.
Things were questioned.
Things were deleted.

Tonight’s Victims
Tonight we’ve been working through:
Old and duplicated trader entries
Missing Expansion Market categories
Leftovers from removed mods
MBM content that has overstayed its welcome
Trader configuration problems
Terje configuration issues
Economy inconsistencies
XML that apparently had strong opinions about how coordinates should be written
Terje Has Returned From the Dead
After entirely too much fighting with XML formatting, Terje is loading properly again.
That means we can finally start experimenting properly with:
Radiation zones
Psionic areas
Skill and XP modifier areas
Hunting and fishing focused regions
More location-based gameplay as testing continues
The important part is that we now have a working base to build from instead of fighting the configuration every five minutes.
Trader & Market Cleanup
The Expansion Market has also been getting a serious cleanup.
Duplicates → Missing Categories → Old Mod References → Broken Trader Mappings → Obsolete Content
There is still more testing to do, but we’re finally getting the market back into a state where we can work on the actual trader experience instead of playing configuration whack-a-mole.
NIGHTLY BUILD WARNING
TONIGHT’S BUILD IS A TESTING BUILD.
Some of these systems are actively being rebuilt and tested. Expect that something, somewhere, may decide not to cooperate.
You may encounter:
Missing items
Incorrect trader prices
Trader weirdness
Strange loot or economy behavior
Features changing between restarts
Something completely unrelated breaking because apparently that is how DayZ works

We’re actively testing this build, so reports during the nightly patch help us find problems that don't show themselves until people actually get onto the server and start breaking things.
What Comes Next?
Once this cleanup pass is finished, we can start doing the fun part again.
The next phase is making sure the mods and items we actually use are correctly represented throughout the loot economy and trader system.
Then we can put more time into:
Traders → Loot → Terje → Events → New Content
No more dragging piles of ancient configuration along for the ride.
